Do You Know Whats in a Texas State Map?
You will need more than a Texas state map to realize the truth about the state of Texas! When people talk about Texas they usually speak of Ranches, Cattle Farmers and the old drama series called “Dallas”. Well, there is so much more to Texas than any amount of writing can say, you will just have to come experience Texas yourself. In this expression of Texas, I am going to give you just a little peek.
I do believe we have it all in Texas! I could name a few of the many wonderful Colleges we have right off the top of my head; Southern Methodist University, A & M, University of Texas in Dallas, Baylor University (Dallas and Houston), Texas Women’s University and more. Some of these colleges may actually be on certain Texas state maps.
The entertainment throughout Texas is amazing!
If we were to look at the Texas state map to find Dallas, you wouldn’t be able to see all of the growth and Development just by looking at the map. Dallas is in constant development, it never stops growing! So think of the entertainment and nightlife in a city that is consistently growing and evolving, with the revitalization of downtown, booming and brimming with urban caf’s and coffee shops, upscale restaurants and they are consciously building in a way that’s making it pedestrian friendly. Downtown Dallas is striving to be a place with urban appeal, it is really hard NOT to find some form of anything you could be looking for. In addition to Downtown Dallas there are also Uptown areas, Addison areas and North Dallas areas that are fun and always happening! Fort Worth, as well as Dallas and Houston, offer wonderful Performance Halls for Ballet, Opera and Symphony and Dallas is actually building a new one right now.
The Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, The Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas and the Cullen Performance Hall in Houston, offer wonderful venues for Ballet, Opera and Symphony. With literally so much culture and activities in Texas, it is hard to keep up with and actually see everything!
My Point is not to be fooled by what you see on a basic Texas state map, television, or the way people still like to display their idea of Texas. I have lived here for over 15 years and still have not been able to see every wonderful aspect of this Large but Wonderful state we live in. Whether you are just passing through, want to vacation here in Texas or you are moving because of work or career, just know you will be pleasantly surprised about everything you didn’t know about the state of Texas.
Always remember to look for the most current Texas state map. Some maps will have attractions and entertainment plotted within the travel directions. This more detailed map will sometimes have places of interest you may have never heard of. This kind of detailed map will make it easier to find such attractions. Please, take this from a directionally challenged person like myself.
Whether you are just passing through or want to vacation in Texas, know you will be pleasantly surprised at everything this lovely state of Texas has to offer.
