Temporary Banners For Quick Signs
Banner signs have come a long way from 5 or 6 years ago, and now they have become very versatile. They are used in all sorts of places and have replaced more permanent signs. Instead of wooden or plexiglass signs, we now see vinyl banner signs more and more.
These days, the most common material for outdoor banners is a smooth, durable and good looking vinyl. Vinyl banners can stand the sun and the rain for a number of years, and so it is often used in situations where a quick and low cost alternative is required.
Sometimes vinyl signs are used as a temporary fill-in, before a more permanent sign is erected later. At other times, vinyl will be used for only temporary sites, such as construction sites and special events.
The greatest advantage of vinyl is that it is very flexible and lightweight. This means that the banners can be easily folded or rolled up and easy to transport. They are also cheap compared to other signage.
What has mainly made vinyl so versatile is that they can be printed quite cheaply and quickly in wonderful full color. Printing on vinyl banners used to be a crude and laborious task, but all that has changed with the ‘digital revolution’. Special printing machines are now printing full color digital images on banners, which can be used either indoors or outdoors.
The process for designing and printing a vinyl banner is quite simple — as long as you know a little about digital printing. Banner designs can include photographs, artwork, fancy backgrounds or logos. Basically, any graphic image store in a computer file can be printed on a vinyl banner.
